We are happy to accompany projects we support personally, so we concentrate our funding activities on the Basel region.

How can you apply for funding?

In our Notes for Applications, you can find all the information you need.

The submission periods for applications are as follows:

• 1 March to 31 May
• 1 September to 30 November

We will make decisions during and after these periods.

Applications are possible in the following areas:

• contemporary visual and performing arts
• art in architecture
• music and art therapies
• pedagogy (in particular: Steiner/Waldorf education)
• agriculture and food
• medicine and elder care

We do not support:

• funding for projects in the field of real estate (purchase, construction, renovation, etc.)
• musical projects
• courses of study or training/scholarships
• public appeals for donations, crowdfunding

In the performing and visual arts, we primarily support the creative process of young artists at the beginning of their careers. In all other areas, we focus on projects that focus on the present and adopt an expanded perspective that looks to the future.
